Block of the Month Progress

After I did the big catch up back in January, I let my BOM progress slip again. But a few weeks ago I cut up all the remaining blocks.
My 'scraps' pile!
And then well the blocks stayed all cut in their zip lock bags until yesterday when I pieced one block.

Can you see all of my errors? I looked at it and just sighed, but I figured I probably won't notice it much when it is a part of a finished quilt. I am learning to embrace imperfections. Ha!

Now I am just two blocks from being caught up. Hopefully I will get some time to do that today.

  1. No one sees your mistakes as much as you...just enjoy how beautiful it is...the fact that you are making the quilt is what counts! I love the colors.

    1. Thanks Ellen! I can't wait for this BOM to be finished. I really want to finish this quilt so I can use it this winter :)

  2. Love it! And I agree with Ellen - we see our own errors more than anyone else does!

  3. I'm more a sewist than a quilter, but I can't see your errors! I think it's a really modern quilt, I love it!

  4. Only when you told me to look for it! I love the overall look of this design! I should hurry up and make mine :S
