I love elf on the shelf my little boy is only 16 months so I am not entirely sure he gets it but he did point to him this morning and say Jin (the elfs name is Jingle) I saw on pinterest that another blogger threw a welcome breakfast for their elf or the elf threw it for them I am not sure how she sold it to the kids but it was so sweet I am going to do that next year.
